I’ve stayed here twice and found the rooms really good and spacious. The place is clean, the service was good, and the caretakers were well behaved. I had lunch once too, and it had a nice homemade feel. You can definitely stay here.

Our experience was poor. The room was very dirty, the bathroom filthy, the kitchen dirty, and the gas cylinder was leaking. The person in charge was very rude, and the receptionist came by more than four or five times. We won’t return or recommend it. The owner asked whether we had stayed there and said we had been at their adjacent Airbnb instead, despite writing the review here. They said the room and kitchen were clean, asked why we hadn’t gone elsewhere if we disliked it, and mentioned having dealt with over 30,000 guests. They also said the receptionist may sometimes be rude, but does what he can for guests. In response, the owner’s reply came after more than four months, and it was surprising they weren’t sure we had stayed there. They should check their records before questioning us and look into possible lapses. We had paid an advance before arriving and asked the person there to return the money, but he refused. The owner should check properly. The room and bathroom were dirty, the person in charge was rude, and the delayed response made matters worse. The owner also questioned the English spelling and grammar in the reply.

Everything else was good, but breakfast cost about ₹500 for six slices of bread and two cups of tea. I’d never had that kind of experience before. I’d paid in advance through goibibo, so I couldn’t place an order on Zomato.

The owner has a gentle, hospitable manner. The bathrooms are roomy, and the rooms are spotlessly clean and large enough to feel comfortable even on a long stay. The interiors seem thoughtfully made with care and good taste. I’d strongly recommend this guest house, you won’t be disappointed.
