Urban Villa

An affordable, budget-style stay in a very peaceful location, with great staff. The interiors and facilities feel old, though. The bathroom was clean but not well maintained, and the food's price matched its quality and quantity.

There’s plenty of parking, and the outdoor seating area was awesome and romantic. The staff were cooperative. Deluxe rooms are spacious, though the triangle dome rooms feel a bit cramped. The property sits up high and the road leading there is narrow.

When I reached Urban villa, the place was in such bad shape that it felt unsafe and unhygienic. The windows were broken, and nobody could stay there. I asked for my 500 rupee advance back, but the manager’s rude response shocked me. I’d booked online after arriving in Guwahati with my family the day before. The hotel manager quickly contacted me and said there was only one room, so I had to pay in advance straight away. I paid, but the photos seem like Photoshop creations.
