Victoria Guest House

For the price of an AC room, the place was just about okay, with a mid-90s feel. The TV and AC worked, the bathroom was passable, and there was no dim-light option. But the room was damp and needs a full makeover. Floors were sticky, sheets and comforters were extremely dirty, the flush didn't work, and it felt unhygienic. I was put by the kitchen, where people were making a mess, and nothing was soundproof. We skipped room service because the staff had been moody from the start. The surrounding area felt damp and filthy too. The road had big potholes full of rainwater, and nearby people kept staring at me when I arrived, which felt suspicious. Sorry if that's too honest, but I believe people paying for a stay deserve good service and fair treatment.

We booked one night through OYO, but when we arrived the manager said we couldn't check in because the amount paid in the app wasn't enough. He wanted us to pay three times more. We refused and called OYO customer care. I spent about 30-40 minutes on the call, much of it on hold. In the end, they backed down and apologized, saying it wouldn't happen again 😂😂

The manager really tested my patience, even though I'm usually calm, and the staff were very ill-mannered. It seems like he may be running a scam by charging extra. I hope the owner finds out before going broke. The rooms are third class. I wouldn't recommend it, but decide for yourself. ✌️

I went to pick up a friend who'd stayed there for about three days. The location was very hard to find, and the common-area restroom was dirty and unhygienic. The receptionist was smoking in the shared area in shorts, and the moment we entered it was very dim. They didn't give us a bill and charged us far too much.
