The rooftop restaurant is nice, and the staff were helpful and polite. The rooms were clean, though definitely cramped, and the deluxe rooms didn’t have basic furniture like a table or chairs. It’s handy for visiting the Jain Temple, but the hotel is a bit far from the main city center. I’d avoid the MAP meal plan: they served the same menu every day, however long you stayed.

The location is the one good thing here. Food was tasty, but very expensive, and the rooms, beds, towels, and bathrooms were unclean. The towels were torn, too. The rooms are also very small. The pictures show a chai kettle, but there wasn’t one in the room. The wedding hall images don’t help guests looking at the rooms, and can give buyers the wrong impression. At around 600-700 for this service and location, you might consider it. Otherwise, think twice before booking. I was disappointed.
The prices are way too high for food that wasn’t good. The ambience was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend going there.
The rooms at Hotel Gold Inn in Gwalior were cramped and smelled bad, and the geyser in ours didn’t work. Staff were somewhat helpful, but they wouldn’t accept what we were telling them. It was a horrible stay. Take the negative reviews seriously and think twice before booking.
The room was a decent size, but the bedsheet and blanket were pretty dirty.
