The Bunker Hostel - Dharamkot

What stays with me most is how the hosts and the other travellers made this hostel feel special. During Diwali, they cooked a huge meal and lots of traditional sweets, then shared their celebration and customs with everyone staying that night. They made us feel part of the family. Many thanks for that, hugs from this Cuban girl! 🇨🇺 The place was clean and well maintained, and everything I tried, whether breakfast or dinner, was delicious. I'll always carry lovely memories of my time there.

The owners were so helpful and supportive. We arrived early, and they still let us stay. The food was awesome compared with other local restaurants, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There's a huge hall with paintings and books that gave the place a really positive feel. It's a great place to stay with a group of friends. I hope to visit again and make another Bunker's story.

The dorm I stayed in during my vacation was very well maintained, and the view from Bunker's is still fresh in my mind. It's set in the lovely surroundings of Dharmakot village, about a 2 km walk from where the auto or cab drops you, and very near to Zostel. Nomad's Cafe, just above Bunker's, had amazing food. In chilly weather, hot chocolate there is hard to beat.

The hilltop views across the valley are amazing, and they serve tasty homemade food. The friendly staff, other travellers, and two dogs make it feel like a better home, and I felt completely at ease. Bring your creative side along: there are artists and musicians to jam with and share ideas. Must go!
