The Narayanam Hotel

We stayed for 1 day in a spacious, very clean room. The food was tasty, and breakfast was especially good, with plenty of choices and live dosa. They also arranged an early check on request, and a heater was available on demand during winter.

The food was very good, and I liked the hotel’s aesthetic ambiance. It’s conveniently located for reaching the major places around the city. My room at Hotel Narayanam, Gwalior was excellent and well maintained, and the polite, cooperative staff made the stay even more pleasant. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Gwalior.

Breakfast was a standout, with lots to choose from: poha, South Indian items, poori bhaji, pakode, sandwiches, fresh fruit, sprouts, toast, cornflakes, Chocos, shakes, buttermilk, boiled eggs, and eggs cooked to order just how you like them. The food was a big part of the stay. We had Chicken Musallam for lunch, loaded with cashews and tasting authentic. The rooms were big, spacious, and neat, with a well-connected TV, mini-refrigerator, and hot water kettle with ready-made tea and coffee kits. They also supply just about everything you might need, from dental kits, hair oil, a comb, hair dryer, iron, and shower cap to a sewing kit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and proactive. Housekeeping and room service got things right the first time, and the humble owner personally made sure guests had a great experience. It really felt like a home away from home in Gwalior. 10/10 for cleanliness, food quality, and hospitality. I strongly recommend this hotel for a Gwalior trip.

We spent 5 days here in November with family and were very happy with our stay. The restaurant was very good, with all food freshly cooked, and its staff were really nice. The hotel staff were excellent too. Manager Anurag Tripathi and Mr. Bhargava were genuinely warm and service oriented, and made sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re in Gwalior, especially with family.
