The White Seasons

I stayed for 4 nights at a budget-friendly price, and the hotel was good value for money. The food was tasty. The day shift receptionist was friendly and responsible, a pleasant exception. The night shift staff, though, came across as unwelcoming and indifferent. We asked for room makeup, but it hadn't been done when we got back. The receptionists' attitude was a letdown.

The room itself was good, but the service made this a bad experience. The geyser never worked during our stay, even though we called at least 5-6 times and nobody came. Then, the next morning, the bathroom water stopped altogether. These problems made us late for sightseeing.

We couldn't freshen up because it was cold at night and the geyser wasn't working from check-in. We called about 5-6 times, then I went to reception to complain, but nobody came to help. The next morning they said the main switch had been off. Then the bathroom water supply stopped as well. At checkout I asked for compensation since the lack of service kept us from getting ready and made us late for our next destination. They were rude and brushed it off by saying, “pani ka problem ho jata hai aise.” Customers affected by a service failure should be compensated.

We had no hot water from the moment we entered the room until we left. I called them many times, but nobody came to help. We also asked for extra bedding, and they said someone could sleep on the sofa, but it wasn't even big enough for a 10 year old. Not a good experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.
