The staff seemed uninterested and wouldn’t help with the problems I raised. Noise kept coming through the thin walls, with inconsiderate guests disturbing me all the time, so getting a decent night’s sleep was nearly impossible. My room was badly cleaned, the sheets and towels looked old and worn, and the bathroom had mold in the corners with hardly any basic toiletries. The advertised amenities were disappointing too: Wi-Fi was unreliable, and breakfast was just stale pastries and lukewarm coffee. This was a dreadful stay and I regret choosing this Oyo hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We stayed here in February 2023. The owner was nice when we met him, and he assured us the problems would be taken care of. But the service was poor, and there was no TV in our room. Staff said construction on the nearby flyover had cut the phone lines, internet and other cables. The rooms were nice, though not that great, and lacked amenities. In my view, they need wear and tear repairs in the rooms, more consistent reception coverage since a different person seemed to be there each time, and working internet, Wi-Fi and telephone connections.

We booked a triple room online, but on arrival they said it had been given to someone else, without contacting us, and moved us into a twin room. We first booked two nights at 1200 per night. The room was so bad that we decided to leave after the first day, but when we asked for the second night’s refund they claimed the rate was 2000 per night. After a lot of discussion, they returned only 500 of the 2400 we had paid. The room was really dirty, the washroom was the worst, and I’m not sure the sheets or blankets were cleaned at all. Maybe people end up here only when everywhere else is sold out and they’re stuck in Haridwar. One of my worst experiences.

I booked three rooms through Goibibo, but the manager said no rooms were booked under my name. Contacting OYO was no help, and its response was terrible. The hotelier Mr.Pandey tried to help, though he couldn’t fix it because the hotel had stopped working with OYO over financial issues. My family and I were on the road for around four hours before finding another hotel. Hotel manager Mr.Pandey did help us move to a different place, but during vacation season I had to pay a lot more and accept fewer facilities. OYO customer care was rude and unprofessional. I’d tell readers not to book through OYO. If you do, be ready to fight with them. I feel they’re cheats and frauds.
