The Punjabi owner’s hospitality is distinctive, and the hosts offer local and combined tours openly, with no hidden cost. The rate is very cheap, while the service is very good. Rooms are adequate for sleeping, with hot and cold water, filtered drinking water, clean linens, mosquito repellent, and room freshener. It’s on the main state road to Rishikesh, 1.5 km from Harki pouri.
This is a house turned into a hotel, run by a nice family. The rooms are small and have standard budget amenities. There’s no parking at the property, but they arrange nearby paid parking. I’m a tea fanatic, and I didn’t like the tea they served.
The food had that flavorful, home-cooked taste, and the rooms were roomy and tidy. It’s a good spot for a decent family stay, very close to har ki puri. I’d recommend it.
Har ki pauri ghat is a bit far, though a rickshaw is easy to get for Rs 10 per person. What stood out was the awesome food and the warm, homely hospitality from Suri & family. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
It’s about a 15min walk to Har-ki Paudi main bath Ghat of Haridwar. The place has a homely atmosphere and treats, and is a good fit if you want tasty, hygienic home-style food. Highly recommended.
