OYO 67731 Hotel Ganga Inn

The staff behaved terribly, and the hotel is expensive for its standard and for the market. You can find plenty of better, much cheaper hotels nearby. We were misled because we finalized the booking through WhatsApp messages and photos without knowing the actual condition. The rooms are in terrible shape, with water leaking from the attached bathroom in every room. The bed and mattress smelled so bad I couldn't stand it. The washroom has leakage water, so you can see your potty through it if you want to try.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the AC worked well. Service was good too. The washroom was in decent condition, though it could still be improved.

My visit to Haridwar was meant to be peaceful, but this hotel made it a miserable experience. Staff seemed uncoordinated and very lazy, and the night receptionist was rude. They argued well, but seemed more interested in charging for every little thing than helping guests, even telling them to leave. I also filed a complaint with OYO. I’d avoid this place.

Staying here felt like they were doing us a favor by letting us sleep in a bed. The room floor was still dirty when we arrived, and even after calling on the intercom, we had to go downstairs and ask reception to deal with it. The AC didn’t work, the geyser stopped during a shower, there was no TV cable or program subscription, and the Wi-Fi was down. I think the other star ratings may be fake or posted by hotel staff. Worst hotel.
