OYO 71624 Hotel City Delux

We stayed for three nights and mostly spent the day travelling, so the room was mainly for sleeping. Big rooms can fit around five or six people, and hot water comes at no extra charge. There's no attached restaurant, but they can make you a tasty, healthy thali right away. Service was better than average, and the interiors were average. There's a lift, but no dedicated parking, though you can safely park on the road. For a low budget stay, it's a better option, and you can overlook a few things at that price.

I checked in on 21.09.19 for one night. The room walls were marked with Gurkha, there was no hot water, and the place smelled bad. The bedsheets and pillow cover were in poor condition too. This place was horrible, and it felt like they were only there to cheat you. Don't stay, even if they offer it for free.

I booked a room and submitted my documents at what seemed a fair price. Then a worker came and told me to leave or pay double. The service is poor, the charges are high, and all the staff, including the MD, were very rude. I suggest not staying here.

We had to switch rooms twice during our three-day stay, and every room had issues. The first had faulty switches that shocked us, and its bathroom was dirty. The second room was small, while the last one had another unclean bathroom, a broken shower, and a dirty room. We were fed up. The rooms are cramped, the bathrooms are awful, and the whole place is unclean. The rooms we got also had insects and pests that could ruin your sleep, as they did ours. Rent is very high for what you get, and you can find better rooms in Haridwar for that price. Don't book ahead. Check the room first.
