It’s a decent one-night pitstop if you just need somewhere to crash, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. The hotel has a good vibe, but the stay itself felt basic and average. The food was okay, nothing special, and there were flies in our room. The furniture also felt dated. It’s down a narrow lane in a residential area, so finding your way there can be tricky. Some updates are needed.

Hotel Sarai is peaceful and very beautiful, with lovely rooms and good food. We booked a Deluxe room and were given an upgraded Room. When the staff learned that one of our party was newly wed, they gave them a suite room. Everyone was ready to help and served us with a smile. Special thanks to Lateef at reception for making check-in very smooth, and to waseem younis and Rizwan from housekeeping.

We were welcomed so warmly, and the hotel’s neatness and ambience were excellent. I stayed here for 4 nights in great comfort. The room service and staff hospitality went beyond what I expected, and the restaurant team provided very very good service. The food was excellent too. My whole stay was excellent, and I can confidently recommend this Hotel to friends travelling to Srinagar.

The South Indian breakfast could use more variety and taste better. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my stay at The Sarai Hotel. The mountain view adds a lot, and the calm, welcoming atmosphere made it pleasant to relax there. The property is well maintained, with clean, tidy, comfortable rooms. Staff were courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The price felt affordable for the location and quality. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar.

Shahid and Suhail looked after us with warmth and real hospitality. We upgraded to a premium club room with garden and Mountain View, and our MAP plan included a complimentary meal. The authentic welcome drink, Kawha, and all the meals impressed us. The rooms were well maintained, and housekeeping and F&B were amazing. I stayed for 3 nights: 12 Apr, 16-17-Apr. It was an unmatched experience, and I recommend the stay to anyone coming to Srinagar for peace and serenity, away from the city crowds and hustle bustle. I wish Shahid and Suhail success.
