Hotel Raama

The triple executive room we chose was spacious, with the TV, AC, refrigerator, towels, and other essentials all there. Check-in was straightforward, and parking is ample, though it can get crowded around restaurant lunch and dinner hours. There’s a pure vegetarian restaurant in the hotel with good food, plus a lounge bar that serves non-veg dishes. They also have a banquet hall for 150 or more. I had a good stay while visiting Hassan.

The room looked like the photos, but the smell was awful. They put us right beside a drain without warning us. When we asked to move, they claimed there were no other rooms, but as soon as we said we’d cancel, they offered to show us another one. It felt like the rooms had been shut up for months with the drainage odor inside. Really bad service and experience.

The breakfast was below par, and the rooms at Rama Hotels, Hassan weren’t properly cleaned or looked after. The service and hospitality need a lot of work. A poor stay.

I found this hotel through its Google rating and liked the clean, roomy rooms. It’s right on the Bangalore-Hassan road, the food tasted good, and the service was excellent. We loved staying here. If you’re in Hassan, I’d say give this place a visit. Everything was excellent for us.
