Hampis Boulders Resort

Plan for an extra day here if you can. The resort is a bit far from Hampi's sites, and travel and sightseeing can leave you with little time to enjoy the property. The cottages are mostly river-facing, with lovely peaceful views of the Tungabhadra. Our room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the restaurant served delicious food hot and fresh. Staff were polite and quick to help, even arranging an auto for getting around and visiting the heritage sites, where parking can be difficult. Hampi's Boulders Resort is a beautiful experience I'd recommend when visiting Hampi.

The limited mobile signal and no WiFi in the room made it easy to unplug and enjoy being in nature. Our room had a magnificent, relaxing river view, and the food was consistently delicious, with both local and other choices. The staff were polite and prompt, and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Boulders Resort Hampi was a perfect family getaway and an unforgettable stay.

I'd want to spend at least 4-5 days here just to soak up the peaceful atmosphere. Booking directly through Jaseer and Abhilash was easy, and they replied quickly. Croc2, our riverfront room, was stunning, with sunrise and a beautiful moon in view. Abhilash was a gentle, helpful caretaker, always ready with whatever we needed, from vegetable fritters and Bhajis to ginger tea. The food was tasty, clean, and served hot wherever we wanted to eat, which was a real bonus.

The resort itself is really nice and has good amenities, though the rooms are just okay, nothing fancy. One thing felt shady: the property manager took 700inr for a jeep ride through his personal upi qr and then refused to give us an invoice. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.
