The setting by the pool is lovely, and Sariska Tiger reserve is nearby. It’s a peaceful place for anyone wanting a quiet break, though it isn’t suited to loud music, parties, or a kids’ play zone. Adding a separate room with things like bat and ball, glow hockey, table tennis, or billiards would make it even more fun for children. I’d been a little wary after earlier stays in Alwar, but we were welcomed warmly. The rooms were spacious and cozy, with a pretty garden view and a mountain range on the left. The staff were very supportive and polite, and the owner is someone you can have a long conversation with. When we had no way to get there, he even offered us a ride to the Tiger reserve gate at 5:45 am on a freezing winter morning. The road between Siliserh Lake, the reserve, and the resort was a bit sketchy in places, though that’s outside the resort’s control. We gave the stay a big thumbs up and would recommend it for a relaxing weekend away from city life.

The food was great at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the beds were so comfortable we hardly wanted to get up for the tiger safari. Rooms are large, with bathrooms much bigger than usual. The hotel is quiet, welcoming, and super clean, just 15 minutes from Sariska Tiger Reserve. WiFi is available only in the lobby, but cell reception is good throughout the property. I’ll definitely come back.

The grounds are lovely to wander around, with peaceful spots where friends and family can spend time together. It’s easy to lose track of time here. Our rooms were spacious and relaxing, and the welcome from Mr. Jitender, the owner, made everything feel comfortable and easy. Meals were a real highlight, full of homely flavors. Thanks to Chef Vasav and his team for the delicious food and the humble way they presented it. A little more polish and exclusivity in the room service would fit the lodge’s already wonderful feel. Great food, warm people, and cozy rooms. Can’t wait to return!

The garden is well looked after, and they’re growing vegetables for farm-to-table meals. We found the atmosphere really relaxing, and Sariska Tiger Reserve is about a 15-minute drive away. It was too cold for us to use the pool, though it looked clean and had loungers around it. Everyone welcomed us warmly and was helpful, including when they arranged an early lunch and a late breakfast around our afternoon and morning tiger safaris at Sariska. The food was tasty, and the chef explained each buffet dish. I didn’t see an à la carte menu, and I wasn’t sure where to find pool towels. The room also had no instructions for using the heating function on the Aircon, which we needed in the cold, or for the WiFi password. The connection was poor in the room, but the password would have helped in the common areas.

The bonfire and karaoke night was our favorite part, singing under the stars around the fire made the trip memorable. The relaxed atmosphere was lovely too. Our stay at Sariska Safari Lodge was wonderful, with spacious, clean, cozy rooms that were nicely put together. Every staff member was polite, attentive, and seemed genuinely keen to make our stay special.
