OYO 30673 K R K Residency

I haven't stayed at this hotel, but the service is very bad.

Manju, the tour guide and auto driver, took us sightseeing and knew the area very well. He was a nice fellow. The place is close to the train station, and the rooms were comfortable and clean for a reasonable price. We checked three or four nearby options and found this to be the best deal. The drawbacks: there's no elevator, and the intercom doesn't work. Still, we had a good experience.

We paid Rs 1800 for a non-AC deluxe double room with two extra beds. It had a queen-size bed and a three-foot-wide extra mattress for another person. The room, bathroom, sheets, and pillow covers were clean. Hot water was available, though not through the shower. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel, but staff can arrange food if you call, and they were friendly. There was open roadside parking in front. The extra blankets weren't great, and came without covers, so they were difficult to use.

The rooms were below average and had mosquitoes, so the hotel didn't feel worth the price. Reception wouldn't let us check in early unless we paid extra, and made everyone wait until exactly 12 PM. There's no lift in the building.
