Grand Continent Hosur A Sarovar Portico Affiliate Hotel

The food was tasty and neatly served, and room service was good. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. Breakfast did the job, though it wasn't especially grand. Parking was a bit tricky but manageable, and car cleaning was available at a reasonable price. The internet was slow, but 5g worked, so that wasn't a problem.

The food was good, but the stay didn't feel worth the 4000 rs they charge under the Sarovar affiliation. The pillow was dirty and the bathroom had stains. Parking was a nightmare: my car, with 220 mm ground clearance, scraped underneath while going back up. At night I woke to a loud noise like nearby shop shutters closing.

The hotel is about a kilometre from Hosur Bus Stand, right on Bagalur Road, and the Croma store on the ground level makes it easy to spot. It's a clean, tidy place with comfortable rooms and basic amenities. The in-house restaurant is on the fifth floor and the food is very good. The breakfast buffet is on a par with modern luxury hotels, while the pricing is economical and cheapest if you book through Bluepillow/Agoda. There's no cab service through the hotel, so arrange a local call taxi like A1 or Best Cabs. Red taxi is available too.

I went to this hotel three times at Tata Electronics' invitation, and each stay was bad. While I was asleep, staff repeatedly knocked on my door at 4 a.m. for no clear reason. I raised it with the front desk, but they acted as if nothing had happened and didn't apologize. At check-in they hadn't changed the previous guest's sheets. I could see dirt and long female hair on them. Room service often missed things as well, and getting them corrected took multiple calls and sometimes an hour or two of waiting. I've had enough, and next time I'll ask the company to book me somewhere else.
