We booked several rooms honestly for my sister's wedding and stayed at Lakshmi Residency last week. From arrival, we felt unwelcome. The front desk counted us in front of everyone as if we were sneaking people in or trying to cheat them. It was insulting, as if they thought we were uneducated. Their rules allow only two people in a standard room and three in a suite, which is already awkward for families. But even with only two people staying in our suite, the front desk person shouted at us when my husband came in for 15 minutes to freshen up and change. He said, “If you bring 10 people like this, how can I allow everyone?” That was disrespectful and unprofessional. I tried to explain politely that he was just changing and we'd be leaving soon, but the person kept shouting instead of explaining things clearly. Only at the end did he say we should have “taken permission,” something nobody had told us before. If that's the rule, it should be explained at check-in, not yelled at guests afterward. We checked in around 2 PM, then found one of the rooms had no water when we went to freshen up. When we asked, he brought up rules again instead of fixing it. He even argued with the bride, which no hotel staff should do. They have no idea how to treat guests with basic respect. If you're visiting with family or for a wedding or another special occasion, avoid this hotel. They made what should've been a special day stressful and unpleasant. There are better, more professional hotels in Hosur.
