The photos make this place look much better than it is. In person it feels unfinished and untidy, with overgrown grass, no maintained lawns, and cheap rooms and bathrooms. It was also scary at night. They charge like a five-star hotel for a place that could be a good stay under 5k. The owner seems more interested in making money than maintaining it. Trimmed grass, flowers, or a clean pool would improve the look. Wi-Fi barely worked, and there was no signal either, which was another headache. I felt like I’d wasted my money.

Mystique Meadows Earth Homes in Hunder gave us a peaceful, unusual stay amid Nubra Valley’s beautiful scenery. The traditional-style rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable. Staff were courteous and attentive, and we enjoyed the food. A nice place to unwind and take in Ladakh’s natural beauty.

Incredible INDIA and an incredible Mystique Meadows. Everything was top notch, especially the staff’s behavior. Ganesh and Milan took such good care of us, and when my wife fell ill, they made Dal khichdi for her at very short notice. I can’t say much more than that.

The bedouin-style huts are spacious and comfortable, and the garden has pretty flowers. The property is lovely and the food is good quality. What really sets the stay apart is the staff, who are proactive and attentive to what guests need. I was impressed!
