Best Western Ashoka

The food was the highlight for us, genuinely delicious and soulful. The location is excellent too, just opposite the metro station, so getting around is easy. That spot also means heavy traffic noise, which was disturbing at night. The rooms are pretty, but the hotel needs renovation. The bathrooms are old and poorly maintained. The showers didn't work at all, and hot water was almost unavailable during our stay. We raised it with the front desk, but little was resolved. The rooms and bathrooms need a serious upgrade to meet expectations.

At Metro Adda I ordered the Bombay Cutting Tea, and the taste, strength, and value were all excellent. The product is great. The staff were talking loudly among themselves and didn't seem hospitable in front of guests, which felt unprofessional. Management, please train the team in basic guest etiquette and keeping things quiet and professional. With service to match the tea, this place would be five stars.

We really enjoyed dinner at Restaurant Raaga, and the staff support was well trained. The hotel is in a prime spot, with good parking and the metro and petrol bunks nearby. We booked two rooms. One was fine, but the other was next to the pantry and full of firewood smoke. Its AC didn't work, and the fans only ran at high speed, not medium. The shower nozzle was jammed and the shower was a nightmare to use. I feel they knew about the fault from a previous customer but didn't care. Reception showed no apologetic feeling or offer of compensation. If you get a good room, that's your luck; otherwise you have to adjust. They don't seem to know how to retain customers.

I only used the meeting hall, so I can't comment on the rooms. The ambience was good, the washrooms were well maintained, and the food tasted amazing. The only inconvenience was that maintenance staff should keep quiet.
