We stayed at Capital O Halcyon Deccan Inn from 21-01-2026 to 22-01-2026, and the condition of the property was appalling. Basic amenities were missing or inadequate, and given the tariff, the value is indefensible. The place feels like an aging, neglected facility, not a modern hotel, and fails even minimum expectations. I strongly recommend choosing a better managed alternative. The room was poorly maintained and not clean. The bathroom was unhygienic, with visible stains and marks that showed a serious lack of care for housekeeping and guest comfort. The AC was old, inefficient, and visibly neglected, and the property’s infrastructure seemed obsolete and poorly maintained. If disappointment had an address, this would be it. Paying to stay here felt like punishment. This isn’t a hotel experience, it’s a lesson in how low standards can go. Save your money, time, and expectations. Calling it a hotel is generous, and calling it avoidable is accurate. There’s no luxury, just neglect wrapped in branding. One stay is enough to make sure you never come back.

I checked in on 25th December 2025 for a 2-day booking, then left a day early because the stay was unbearable and I wanted to get away, even though it meant losing my money. I asked for a refund for one day, but they flatly refused. I felt cheated and betrayed. I don’t trust the good reviews, which seem fake or misleading. Don’t stay here. The rooms were unhygienic, smelled bad, and had cockroaches and bed bugs. I developed skin rashes. When I told the receptionist about the smell, he casually said, “Open the window, the smell will go.” The washroom was filthy and smelled terrible, so I couldn’t use it. They didn’t provide basic items like a drinking water bottle, bath towel, or soap. I asked to change rooms, and they did, but the second room was just as bad. Save your money, health, and peace of mind.

The rooms were good and the staff were friendly, but there was no hot water.

The location was very good and the service was excellent. I stayed there for 2 days, and the rooms were clean, really good, and comfortable.
