Destino by Halcyon Hitec City

Really poor service. I booked an early check-in a day ahead, but only found out on reaching the premises that no room was available. If they knew early check-in wouldn’t work, they could have called beforehand instead of leaving me stranded at the doorstep. Luckily I had business meetings later that day and managed, but otherwise it would’ve been difficult. Goibibo, there are several ways this could be resolved. Why is no one raising an issue?

We booked well in advance, but on arrival our room wasn’t available. No one had told us, and the booking wasn’t honoured, leaving us stranded and frustrated. This kind of negligence reflects badly on the hotel’s management and customer service. I’m disappointed with the service.

Even though our reservation had been confirmed, there was no room ready for us when we arrived. That lack of preparation and disregard for our booking caused a lot of inconvenience. It’s disappointing to see such a basic service failure at a reputed establishment. Never choose this hotel.

The main reason to consider this average hotel is its prime location near hi tech city. The room had broken plates and bowls, and torn pillow covers. After we gave the room key for housekeeping, the washroom still wasn’t cleaned. There’s no dinner or a la carte option, just buffet breakfast. It has idli every day and toast, with poha, aloo poori or vada depending on the day.
