FabHotel Prowell Caprock Hitech City

For business travelers on a budget, the location is perfect for Hi-tech City. The rooms are clean and in good shape, and the tariff makes up for some limitations in the amenities. The washrooms could use an upgrade. I’d rate it higher if they improved them. Recommended, with those caveats.

The room was clean and the linen was good, but the noise and cigarette smoke made it hard to stay. There’s a seating area in the first-floor lobby where people drink, smoke, and get very loud. Smoke came into my room, and I ended up checking out at night because it wasn’t peaceful. I had a poor experience, though Fabhotel support was kind and understood my problem, then moved me to another hotel.

The staff were the only good part. They helped a lot when I was trying to find another room after problems with mine. But this is called a premium hotel by Fab, and I found out why after staying there: the flush suddenly stopped working, no water came in the toilet, the AC didn’t work, the lift stopped, and there was no hot water. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I was completely disappointed with this hotel’s terrible service over two days. In room 204 on the first day, the washroom flush was broken, there was no locker or internet. The next morning, they assigned room 206, where the flush and locker problems were still there, the internet wasn’t working properly, and water leaked from the AC onto the floor. That night I was put in room 205: the flush was broken again, there was no locker or internet, and the AC didn’t work. The AC remotes in this hotel mainly don’t work. I’d advise people not to stay here, and I’m asking Fab hotels to remove it from their list.
