Hallmark Begumpet By OYO Rooms

I stayed for 10days and had a good time. The place is a private property in a residential area at the center of begumpet towards Punjagutta, OPP to lifestyle, so it doesn't feel like typical lodging. They provide free breakfast and high speed unlimited internet with no code needed. The room service boys were responsive and not as dumb as at other budget hotels, and the manager listened to customer needs. Good location, and I'm looking forward to coming back.

This isn't a hotel in the usual sense. It's a serviced apartment in a residential building, with flats turned into rooms: each flat has 2-3 bedrooms, each bedroom is for 1-2 people, and the hall, kitchen and balcony are shared. We booked for Begumpet and went there first, but they sent us somewhere else, wasting almost 1 hour 30 mins. There was no privacy at all. The AC didn't work, and the room felt suffocating. No room service, no Wi-Fi as promised, and the room was cramped, with no table to put our things on. There weren't even basic power plugs for charging. The rooms we stayed in were completely different from the ones shown when booking. I had a horrible experience and wouldn't recommend this place.

There was no drinking water in the room, and they didn’t provide fresh towels on the second day. The bathroom was leaking, and there’s no lift to the fourth floor. The TV only had regional channels, with no Hindi or English options. Not a good experience.

People assigned to the top floors have to use the stairs because the lift doesn’t work. The room, bathroom, bed linen, service, and breakfast room were all pathetically bad. I’d give this OYO minus zero stars if I could. I’m never going back.
