The room smelled of mould and mildew, with dust everywhere. The bedding was filthy, the shower curtain had black mould, and I wasn’t sure the toilet had been cleaned with a brush recently. The towel was stained and smelled odd, the cups were dirty, and there was an uncovered tea bag on the counter. I got there just after 11pm to check in, after Thirupati darshan had taken up my whole day. I was exhausted and couldn’t drive around looking for somewhere else, so I didn’t have time to complain. I did file a complaint with Make-My-Trip, where I’d booked, but the compensation was measly. I sprayed the bed with sanitizer and perfume, covered the pillow with my shawl, and slept for a few hours. Thank God I only had to be in that room for a couple hours. It was absolute torture, and I couldn’t change accommodations. They also refused to let my driver onto the property, even to use the restrooms, so he had to sleep in the car. Awful experience. I have pictures as proof if anyone needs them.

I loved our 3-day stay in July 2017, and the hotel and most of the staff were great. Our group had 18 people, and the man at the front door who was meant to help us was very rude and unhelpful. The receptionist was the one thing that put us off. Please look into that role and have your kindest staff member there. I’d still love to return.

The rooms and services were very good, but we had a lot of trouble at reception during checkout. The receptionist filled out the entry form and entered the wrong time, without showing us the form. Then they insisted we pay for an extra day, and it took a lot of effort to get them to understand. The reception and entry form process need more attention.

Good value, with big, spacious rooms and decent car parking. It’s in the city center and a little old, but the staff were very cooperative, especially at the front desk. Breakfast was below average.

We come back here often for the central location, roomy clean rooms, and courteous staff. Cleanliness can be hit or miss, though, and many taps are old and keep running. The food is average at best.
