The rates are steep for the area, 1800 for a couple and 1500 for one person. S.L.B hotels and rooms and Hotel VBR Kondapur are the same place, apparently. With the traffic in Kondapur and what you get for the money, it makes more sense to book a better luxury room elsewhere. I wouldn't choose this for a comfortable night's sleep. I stayed for both a day and a night. The bedsheets and pillows were dirty, there was hair on the bed, and I found bed bugs. The washrooms are shared between two rooms, with a hole at the top that makes them accessible from one room to the other. The photos online are very old, so don't rely on them. After I found there was no TV or AC remote in the room, I waited two hours, called, and went to reception, but got little response. They eventually gave me a TV remote. The AC was an LG, but they gave me a Godrej remote that didn't match. When I raised it, the receptionist said they couldn't do anything. I was tired after travelling all day and didn't have the energy to argue. I left the AC off all night and barely got five hours of proper sleep. They also asked for 1000 online and 500 in cash separately. I paid the full amount online. Staffing was poor, the rooms weren't up to standard, and none of the floor lights were on. There's a mosque right next to the hotel, and the prayer speaker came on around 4:40 or 4:50 in the morning, waking me up.

The rooms have been updated and are good. Staff are friendly and helpful, and management is good too. It felt safe and secure for unmarried couples.
