I usually choose Sudarshan Hotel because it's budget friendly, even though the amenities are limited. This morning, though, I had a bad experience with the management. The staff member, Mr. Reddy, who often wears a cap, was described to me as irresponsible with customers. We paid over 1300, including a 200 advance at check-in. When we were leaving, he checked the room and asked me for 300, saying he would return 500 in cash. I paid the 300, but he never gave me the 500. There was also a surprising extra charge for using a mattress. The TV had no connection, the sheets were bad, and there was no hot water. He didn't seem concerned with service and seemed to care only about money. My suggestion is that Mr. Reddy, who speaks “butter English,” find another way to earn money, since this kind of service work doesn't suit him. Please acknowledge the extra Rs. 500. Thanks to Mr. Reddy, I won't choose Shudarshan again. I can share photos of the mattress if more detail is needed.

The breakfast was great again, especially the made-to-order omelettes. We’ve stayed at hotel sudarshan several times over the years, and every visit has felt like a five-star experience. All in all, a good visit.

It's a budget place, and the staff are cooperative, but the atmosphere didn't impress me. Hot water in the morning is a gamble. Sometimes you have to keep pestering the room boy, who may bring it in a broken bucket. After cleaning, the floor is always soapy and slippery, so bring indoor chappals. The washbasin tap leaks constantly. Keep the window panes locked when you leave, or rats and other rodents may get into the room. The top floor is taken over by bachelor men, so there's noise through the night, on top of traffic from the road and flyover right beside the building.

I wasn't sure the popular package would be worth it, but it really was. The hotel, dinner, concert, breakfast, gift basket, and gift certificate were all great, and I'd do it again without hesitation. Everyone we dealt with was kind and polite. The maintenance men even helped us find tools to open our wine bottle after we forgot our corkscrew.

The theater next to the hotel was really convenient, and I loved the ice cream shoppe inside. It was my first trip to narayanguda in probably 30 years, even though I grew up near chennai. I was very impressed by the class room, great breakfast buffet, and friendly, helpful staff.
