Hz Lodge by OYO Rooms

You can see Mecca masjid and Charminar from here, and the price is good for the location. It's a new lodge with good rooms and okay service. There's no complimentary breakfast, and they charge for everything. There's no parking or restaurant, and the WiFi is very poor. The lift only starts at the first floor, though it'll come down to the ground floor on request for an older guest. You have to ask even for little things like soap or a blanket.

We're still staying here because we couldn't cancel at the last minute, and the cancellation charge was outrageous. The place is filthy, especially the bathrooms, and the beds are dirty. Room service does show up, but nothing improves afterward. Photos may look better because we washed the floor with water ourselves. They also charge 30% extra on the total fare for an early arrival, with check-in at 12 PM and checkout at 11 AM. The one advantage is being very close to Charminar, with lots of shopping nearby. OYO needs to improve its service a lot.

The location is handy, hardly 400m from Charminar, and the price makes sense. The rooms are cramped but okay. At checkout, the receptionist or owner was rude and pressured me to give a five-star rating, saying I couldn't leave otherwise. That was a first for me. Owners should learn how to treat customers, and five stars will come on their own. Thanks for your service.

It's close to Charminar, though getting there can be confusing. The lanes are hard to follow, and Google Maps doesn't guide you perfectly. The room was good, but we got no service and service overall is poor. You could stay for a night or two.
