Kygo hostels

For an affordable single-bed dorm, Kygo Hostels was a great stay. The bathroom was clean, housekeeping was on time, WiFi was fast and stable, and hot water was available 24/7 from solar heating. There’s proper CCTV, smoking isn’t allowed, and you can come and go whenever you like outside check-in and check-out times. Lotus Pond park is close by for a rejuvenating stroll. In the big common area, there are books, musical instruments, board games, and other things to enjoy with fellow travellers. Reception also has everyday supplies like toothbrushes and detergent. Mithila, the owner, is friendly and available if you need help. Say hello to her two beautiful Persian cats, Lucy & Ash. I was okay managing the downsides myself and didn’t ask Mithila for help, so most of these may have been fixable. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable and made my back ache, though that might just be me. The bedsheet was small for the thick mattress and slipped off while I slept. There were no wires on the terrace for drying clothes or hooks in the dorm for everyday clothes, and the few laundry stands were always occupied. There were also no lockers in the dorm, and the hostel takes no responsibility for anything lost while you’re away. I’d rate the hostel 8.5/10.

The location is beautiful, right beside the pond, and the rooftop is amazing. It’s an excellent hostel, with lovely private rooms, helpful staff, and the most comfortable bed I’ve had in a long time. The kitchen was a bit dirty, parking was limited, and it could get noisy at night if someone played the TV loudly in the common room.

The lake view from the front is nice, and the interior and arrangements were good. They had the resources, but nobody was willing to provide them properly, and the service fell short. There was no hot water in the washroom. They also wouldn’t let us check in early, even though rooms were available. Edit1: Please check the guest list before saying I didn’t visit. I came with friends on 30th Aug and stayed for the day. I understand the basics and the policy, but you should honor the commitment you made. Given the other options, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this property or book it again. Thanks for confirming the unacceptable behavior in the reviews too.

What stood out at Kygo Hostels was its lively, homely feel. There’s unique artwork, games, music, friendly Persian cats, and a plant-filled colorful balcony that’s lovely for a quiet evening coffee. The terrace has beautiful views of Lotus Pond and the surrounding area. The setting is peaceful, with a nearby food shop, and it’s easy to reach public transport. In a prime, posh area near Lotus Pond and Jubilee Hills, it’s a good base in Hyderabad. The hosts are professional and helpful, and they keep the property in good shape. Dorms and common areas are clean and spacious, and there’s a kitchen where you can cook your own food. It’s affordable and comfortable, with a fun atmosphere that makes it easy to meet other people. A great choice for backpackers and solo travelers looking for a memorable stay.
