The TV had speaker problems and didn’t work properly, adding to an experience that wasn’t worth the money. The place is old and full of defects. We had to change rooms twice because an AC didn’t work properly, its vents were long gone, and the blowers weren’t working. Cockroaches ran around and sometimes got onto the bed at night. Given that many people in the area come for treatment, the hotel felt really unhygienic.

Our 3X deluxe room was 2900 per night for three people when we extended, compared with the original 1400 per night, with no real choice but to pay. Dinner was often gone by 9 pm, though there are plenty of places nearby. Breakfast was only okay, with diluted juice and milk, no eggs or fruit, and it wasn’t ready before 8:15 despite the stated 8 AM start. It ended strictly at 10, and the dining staff brushed me off when I complained. Since many guests are at the hospital for tests, the timing is especially awkward. Mosquitoes were another problem. After repeated calls, they spread liquid that didn’t help, so I bought goodknight for the remaining nights. The reception was indifferent when asked for help, and my luggage still hadn’t reached the room after 30 minutes, so I collected it myself. Cleaning was poor and hard to get done, the bathroom wasn’t maintained and had a large window opening that let in wind, room lights were out, and fans made a terrible noise at low speed. The intercom didn’t work even after replacement, which took three follow ups. Service seems to have fallen sharply since Oyo took over, according to patients who regularly visit AIG. The hotel is close to AIG Somajiguda hospital, a two minute walk, as well as Irrum Manzil metro and the market, with good links to downtown. I spent five nights here with family. It isn’t a 3 star hotel, whatever some staff may claim, and arriving at the last minute without a deal can make it quite expensive.

The room was crawling with cockroaches, and my small double bed classic room had a bathroom so narrow it felt like a gallery. I couldn’t even stand facing the basin mirror to wash my face. Check in took 15 minutes, then another 15 to change rooms because the first AC was noisy. They acted busy despite hardly any guests. In the second room, only one side of the split AC worked, so I had to put up with it. The complimentary breakfast was meant to start at 8, but still wasn’t ready by 8:30 when I had to leave. Poor facilities and way too expensive.

If you’re visiting family at Asian, the location is the only reason to stay here. Service took 45 minutes for in room dining and half an hour at the restaurant, the staff were very rude, and the place wasn’t clean. They overcharged me, and the checkout times were very uncomfortable. It shouldn’t be allowed to keep operating.
