OYO 4025 Hotel Meredian Orchid

The room was small but nice, and the staff were courteous. In lakdi ka pool, it’s an average hotel for this price range, with good restaurant options nearby. There’s no parking or restaurant facility, the TV doesn’t work, and there’s no phone to call reception. It’s also hard to find on google maps because the pin is wrong.

I’ve had very bad experiences during my visits here. Staff aren’t customer friendly, and the prices aren’t cheap, with the amount apparently depending on bargaining at the reception counter. The rooms are dusty, dirty, unclean, and unhygienic, and the bathrooms are just as unhygienic and badly maintained. Management should at least make sure rooms are clean, since customers are paying their hard earned money.

For my 1 day stay, the bathroom was very dirty, TV had no dish connection, and the AC hardly worked. The only thing that worked was the gyesar. The bedsheets weren’t washed, there was no dustbin, and they only gave one small soap after I asked. I guess they don’t clean a room after someone checks out because they have too few staff. I’ve booked rooms through oyo many times because I trusted its standards, but now I doubt they still follow the standards they used to maintain. This is the worst oyo I’ve experienced so far. Zero rating.

The amenities listed on OYO weren’t available at the hotel, and they weren’t following COVID protocols. There was no TV, WiFi, or A/c, despite those being shown on OYO when I made my booking, so I feel I was cheated with a false promise. They didn’t provide soap or shampoo either. This is a worst hotel that degrades OYO’s standards, status, and image. Communication from OYO was very poor. The hotel contact details weren’t provided after booking. When I reached customer care, they couldn’t connect my call to the hotel, and it happened twice. The hotel was dirty.
