OYO 72073 Imperial Guest House

I booked through OYO for a business meeting layover and paid already, but the owner first refused to accommodate me, saying they don’t give rooms at such a low tariff. The caretaker had also refused to let me wait at reception when I arrived early. After two hours, the caretaker told me to call the owner. The owner sent me to OYO customer care to find another place. Only after the OYO executive offered complimentary coupons was I let in. The room was on the third floor with no lift, and it was creepy, tiny, smelly, and clearly uncleaned for a long time. The washroom was filthy and small, and the bedding was old and torn. I changed clothes, went to my meeting, then checked out as soon as I got back that evening. No one should book this shabby property. No negative stars available, or I would have given it -10.

A normal, not bad stay for a family. The AC room had a greezer and Wi-Fi, and Punjagutta metro, Irrumanzil metro, and Yasodha hospital are all less than a kilometer away.

I asked for a room and they showed me one. When I asked to see another, they rudely told me to leave instead of showing it. The service was mannerless, and I was very unsatisfied. Never go there for a room.

We travelled a long distance with our family of five and spent a lot on two cabs, only to be told on arrival to cancel the OYO app booking we’d already made. They said they weren’t accepting OYO bookings, then demanded a huge amount for those dirty rooms. Why is the place listed as OYO if they won’t accept bookings through the app? The staff also spoke to us in bad language and behaved badly. The rooms, washrooms, and mattresses were filthy and smelled awful, and they weren’t cleaning them. Please don’t visit if you don’t want to be harassed and lose your peace.
