OYO 79803 Silver Key Qualia

The bathroom smelled like a public restroom, and the showerhead kept dripping. A musty odor filled the room and made it hard to breathe comfortably. The bedding was stained and smelled bad too. The mattress was painful, with iron rods and springs poking through, which felt uncomfortable and potentially dangerous. The TV didn't work, and the AC ran without actually cooling the room. From check-in onward, my two-day stay last week at Super Hotel O Qualia was a nightmare. I can't think of anything good about it. It felt like a health hazard and a waste of money, so I absolutely don't recommend it.

The bathroom was rusty and in terrible shape, and the commode shifted when I sat down, making it hard to use. There were lots of cockroaches in the room, and I attached photos. It hadn't been cleaned, with dust and hair on the bed and pillows. I noticed empty rooms with mirrors, but the room I got had none. The TV remote didn't work, and I had to call several times throughout the day to get it fixed. I booked through OYO and got the worst room they had. I don't recommend staying here or booking it on OYO. This hotel made me wish negative ratings existed, I'd give it minus 5.

The staff at reception were welcoming and respectful, and the room was very spacious. I was only there to freshen up, so it served that purpose, but I wouldn't recommend it for a day or night stay. The bed springs were gone and easy to feel, and the sheets had lots of spots when you zoomed in on the pictures. The AC worked fine, the lights were sufficient, the geyser worked, and they provided a sample soap and towel. But there was a broken glass window above the bed, the bathroom door lock didn't work, and the TV would shut off after 10-15 minutes with a message saying it needed recharging. I paid 1000 rupees for the day, from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, which felt a little high for the room and cleanliness. The location is a 3 out of 5 too, since it's far from the railway station and shopping malls. My ratings: people and hospitality 4 out of 5, room and cleanliness 3 out of 5, price and value 3 out of 5.

Even though I picked a hotel listed as directly maintained by Oyo, I had a pathetic experience. The workers acted like they owned the place and treated guests like staff. No wonder Oyo is still losing money after 12 long years in the industry.
