OYO Rooms Begumpet Railway Station

The lift hasn't been repaired, room service is poor, and the staff are uncooperative. For shampoo from the shop or a towel, we had to call extension 3300. There was no milk for a child, cockroaches in the bathroom and on the tables, and no fridge in the room. The charges are excessive. Travelers should choose another hotel, and it's especially important not to pay here in advance.

The WiFi didn't work, and there was no pool available for free. There was no restaurant here or nearby, either. We paid Rs 4300 for early check-in, and it wasn't worth even Rs 2000. OYO and the hotel had no coordination. Arriving meant one unpleasant surprise after another. Check-in time was 12 p.m., and for every little thing, like cleaning the room, turning on hot water, or bringing soap, we had to call reception and complain.

We'd booked three rooms under Booking ID SUW***** at OYO 1410 Country Club Begumpet. OYO confirmed it, and I also called the hotel, where they confirmed all three rooms. But when we arrived, the manager said no rooms were available and the bookings had been cancelled. He told us to contact OYO, saying we were OYO's customers, not theirs. Nobody had informed us of the cancellation. We were left stranded without confirmed rooms. We had chosen OYO 1410 for its swimming pool because it was summer. None of the hotels suggested by the OYO representative had a pool either, which was another letdown. I called OYO and was told that OYO 1410 Country Club Begumpet was no longer available. The booking had been cancelled without telling us, and I was asked to move to OYO 29230 Ik London Residency. I had travelled all the way from Pune to Hyderabad with my family and didn't know the city, so I had no choice but to accept. It was so hot we couldn't come outside the hotel premises, but we still had to move. We also had to pay extra cab charges for the transfer.

This is apparently OYO, not Hotel country club, and the experience speaks for itself. The staff weren't cooperative, and everything depended on an unresponsive OYO, which couldn't even give the correct hotel address. Early check-in costs nearly 70% of the room price, and the charge varies over time, so you can't predict it. Come at 12 p.m. on your booking day, since OYO doesn't seem to accommodate guests before then. If you want a peaceful stay, don't choose this place.
