The breakfast was the biggest letdown on both days, with lack of gas given as the reason. Day one was salty Rava Upuma, Poha, tasteless coconut chutney, cut Watermenlon, and tea. Day two brought Tomato Rice, Murmura (Bhel Puri) with no accompaniments, cut Watermenlon, and tea. Bhel Puri for breakfast was a curious menu choice. The restaurant had no ventilation and no AC. I understand there was a commercial gas shortage, but bread and butter, muffins, Croisants, cut fruit, juice, or cereal with hot or cold milk could have been served. It felt like management just wasn’t bothered. I stayed one night with my family in a Premium room. Sai was helpful, the room was decent, the minibar worked, and the hotel is in a quieter part of the city. Hot and cold water pressure was good. The location is down a side lane and didn’t work well for us. The bathroom needed attention: it wasn’t very clean, the tiles were dirty, and the shower head looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. There was no exhaust fan, and most Indian women wouldn’t be able to reach the towel rack. It seemed like management was cutting costs heavily. Was Rs. 2,600/- worth it? Yes, because I wasn’t charged for early check-in, probably because I booked through their website, which promised a 10% discount.
