Shanbhag Hotel

The room was so relaxing, from the cozy bed to the thoughtful amenities, and everything was impeccably clean. Services throughout my stay were outstanding and made the experience seamless and comfortable. Prem Kumar stood out for his excellent service and friendly manner, bringing a personal touch with his attentiveness and professionalism. I’d highly recommend Shanbhag Hotel for great service, pristine cleanliness, and comfort.

We came for lunch, but the food was completely tasteless. I ordered the North Indian thali, along with two rotis and unlimited rice, and didn’t understand the concept of the thali. The hotel may have been great in the past, but it certainly isn’t these days. Staff weren’t looking after customers or interested in serving food, and they were busy arguing among themselves.

The South Indian and North Indian thalis were amazing, and the idli with chutney is a must try. The Chinese dishes disappointed me. The overall atmosphere is calm, staff are very friendly, and hygiene is maintained throughout the service. It’s not that expensive either. I definitely recommend it.

The food was so spicy that all I could taste was chillies, with no other flavor. It came on cheap, cracked plastic cutlery, after a long wait for the order and then for the food to arrive. Nobody attended to us promptly, even for extra plates, and the staff seemed not to care. They acted arrogant and didn’t look after customers. Paying the bill took so long that the food would have been half digested by then. The prices are high for such poor food and service. There are so many flaws here I don’t know where to start. Never visit Shanbagh or get fooled by it. Trust my review, I had a very disappointing experience.
