The restaurant was a real plus, with delicious food at budget friendly prices and a free chilled water bottle whenever we called. It’s rare to find a restaurant at an OYO, and this one even has an air-conditioned fine dining area. The balconies are nice for sitting and chatting in the evening. My room was neat, well furnished, and had what I needed, including a geyser, AC, tables, a soft bed, Wi-Fi, and clean, mild-smelling pillows. Staff were kind and quick to respond, and service was fast. Parking was spacious, with separate areas for two and four wheelers. There’s a lift for late night outings and emergency exit stairs as well.

There was no room service during the five days I stayed, and the staff didn’t seem concerned. Outside food isn’t allowed, but the meals they served were disappointing and expensive. I paid for the breakfasts, none of which were complimentary: the first day’s poha was tasteless, the next day’s upma was uncooked, and on day three I got the same poha again. Dinner was so salty we couldn’t eat it. The bathroom had used condoms in it. I told the staff, but nobody came to clean it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The internet was a problem throughout the room: Wi-Fi was very poor, and 4G barely worked inside, even though the signal was strong outside. I had to connect to my own 4G hotspot outdoors to get online. There was no housekeeping, and cleanliness was below average. The floor and wardrobe were dirty, the bins hadn’t been emptied, and the room had an unpleasant smell. Maybe that came from the new building or furniture, or perhaps the uncleaned bin. They should consider putting air fresheners in the rooms. It felt like an average low-budget stay, and the staff seemed unprofessional and inexperienced, as at other OYO hotels.

The bed was comfortable, and the room I was moved to was bigger without an extra charge. The hotel is also close to IKEA. But there was construction nearby, so the view was terrible. Nobody showed me to my room, and with no room numbers on the doors I got confused. I’d paid for meals in advance, but the hotel didn’t know what was included, and the food was average at best. My first room had no shower; I had to wait a day and a half to move to another one. The bathroom had no towel, water, or toiletries until I called to ask, and the sheets were dirty. Nobody came to clean the room or change them.
