Karthik is the person in charge, as I understand it. The rooms were clean, but when I found what looked like semen or some other liquid on the mattress as I was getting ready to sleep, housekeeping couldn't help. I recorded a video of them, and the working boy couldn't get support from the manager either. Be careful booking if you expect staff support. Late-night workers seemed poorly educated, and there wasn't responsible staff available. There's no restaurant here, and the nearby restaurants aren't up to standard. The operation is poor, and the staff don't seem to understand hospitality. They also had no idea about my travel, so don't bother explaining the rules.

This was my second stay at SPG Grand. I checked in around 4 am, then got woken at 7:30 for complimentary breakfast even though I'd told them not to disturb me. The doorbell was so irritating it jolted me awake and wouldn't let me sleep. Staff are helpful to a point, but housekeeping is a bit poor. There are cracks in the wall in room 201.

The room had no windows, so in some rooms you can lose all sense of what's happening outside. Service to the room is available, though the hotel's slightly out of the way and delivery took half an hour. The rooms were clean and service was good.

Breakfast and meals were available, and otherwise the place had all the facilities. I liked it, but there was no hot water for a bath, so I took a star off.
