Townhouse Meridian Regency

We couldn’t sleep all night and checked out the next morning. We’d booked four days, but after the first night we wanted to leave. Since we’d paid for that day in advance and they refused to refund it, we stayed anyway. It was a horrible night, and thinking about this place still scares us. We changed rooms almost four times because every room had problems. In some, rats and cockroaches were crawling on the beds and in the bathrooms. The bathrooms were dirty and stinky, and every one had a dirty smell. The sheets throughout the hotel were stained and smelled bad too. There was also an uncovered garbage room on the second floor, right opposite the rooms in the middle of the lobby. It seemed like trash had been stored there for months, maybe years, and the smell was so strong we couldn’t stand nearby for even a second. The hotel looks fine from outside, but we were shocked by what we found indoors. The manager and reception staff were rude, and got personal when we complained. When we raised the issues with the manager, he didn’t care and seemed used to hearing these complaints every day. It was a real nightmare. The hygiene was so bad, with cockroaches and rats all over the room, that I’d say avoid this hotel if you can. It’s not even suitable for a solo stay.

It felt like a secure place for a family, and I had a good stay. I recommend it, especially for families.

There’s no food available at the hotel, so you have to order through apps like Zomato or Swiggy. Room service is really bad, and the rooms aren’t cleaned or looked after properly. The TV and AC didn’t work, and the room lighting was very poor.

I heard the ownership has changed, and the hotel seems well maintained now. It’s nice and recently renovated.
