I paid for four nights but checked out after just 10 minutes. There were broken windows, a bad smell, dirt, and spider webs in the AC ducts and bathrooms. They don’t allow outside food, but seeing the hotel’s condition, I didn’t want to risk the food quality with my son’s health. There was no staff to help with our luggage. When I complained at checkout, the receptionist didn’t say a word. I guess they already know what the situation is like.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The reception was awful, with no professionalism, courtesy, respect, or friendliness. It felt as if guests were treated like unfriendly insects, as though they had nowhere else to go and could be treated however the staff wanted. Room service was also very bad: no towel, soap, drinking water, or cleaning. Cockroaches seemed to know to come out of bed once we turned on the light and entered the room. The AC didn’t work properly, and the bedsheets and pillowcases weren’t changed between guests, which was terrible for hygiene. All these problems made the stay unforgettable in the worst way, so I can’t give even one star.

The rooms are spacious and well maintained, with good service and tasty food. We had a two-single-cot room, and four people could easily stay in it. Food arrived on time without delays, and you can get it all day if you walk just a few steps. The rooms have all the facilities except a refrigerator, and the AC is centralized.

I paid the full amount shown online when I booked through OYO, but at check-in the hotel demanded another 100% of the price. The staff were rude and claimed the online price was fake and too low. We refused to pay extra, so they wouldn’t let us stay. I raised the issue with the helpdesk and still haven’t had a response. The whole thing caused a lot of mental anguish and wasted our time and energy going back and forth because of poor service from the hotel management and OYO. Don’t book Townhouse OAK The Margi Hotel. They cheat people by demanding extra money at check-in.

After a long journey, I reached the hotel and even offered to pay them directly, but they still wouldn’t give me a room. I’d booked through OYO and paid two days ahead. Someone told me the manager said there were no rooms, and neither the manager nor receptionist showed up. The phone number listed on Google either sends you to OYO, which wasn’t useful, or just rings endlessly. I had to find another hotel. A really awful experience, and I wouldn’t recommend booking here.
