We never checked in because the arrival was such a mess. The receptionist couldn’t find our Agoda booking, so we waited and got a brief look at a room. The hotel is small, in an older market area that isn’t well connected, and it didn’t feel like a three-star place. When we asked to have the room cleaned, the receptionist got furious and was unwelcoming. We decided not to board there. The rooms looked average.

My parents, an elderly couple, were treated terribly. They said the caretaker shouted and acted in a threatening way after they asked for a clean towel and bed cover. Their room was dusty, and the bed cover was torn. The owner and caretaker wouldn’t cooperate and told them to leave at 10 at night. They weren’t offered water or toiletries either. The staff and cleanliness were very poor. It was a deeply unpleasant experience, and the hotel should be shut down.

Room service was available whenever we asked, and aside from one drawback, everything at the hotel felt outstanding. Food means a trip of up to a kilometre to the railway station or Sarvate bus stand, and drinking water has to be bought from them at ₹20 per litre. For the mid-price range, though, we had a great stay and I’d recommend it.

Avoid this place. The online booking photos are a fraud, and the check-in guy wouldn’t let guests take pictures before checking in. It seems like someone’s old home turned into a so-called hotel. The rooms smell, the walls are damp with peeling plaster, and the bathrooms are dirty. There’s no parking on the narrow side road, and the staircase has no side railings, which is a big risk for guests.
