The staff were friendly and the stay was okay, but the place could've been much neater. Cleanliness was the deal breaker: the corridors aren't cleaned regularly, and there are no dustbins in them. It's a registered OYO property, but the standards are pretty low.
The rooms were fine for a budget hotel, and the location by bhawarkuan square is good. But the owner is arrogant, the staff are thieves, and room service is terrible. Nobody seems concerned when customers have a problem. They even say, “Guests are responsible for their own belongings.” Strange that it's listed with OYO.
The walls smelled foul, and the cement came off when I put my hand on them. The rooms were very dirty, there was no geyser, and the AC didn't seem to work at all.
The food wasn't good, and room service was very poor. They added extra food items to the bill, so you end up paying for orders you didn't make. A very bad hotel.
I just checked out. The only good thing is how close it is to jail chai bar. The service was the worst, and the people were rude throughout.
