Lemon Tree Hotel, Indore

The team’s warmth and hospitality really stood out during our 3 days at Lemon Tree Hotel, Indore. Head Chef Ashok Puri Goswami gave every guest exceptional personal attention. At the restaurant, Shivankar, Neha, and Vishal were attentive and welcoming, and their genuine smiles made each interaction delightful. The room was spacious and clean, and the central location made getting around convenient. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended, and we look forward to staying at Lemon Tree again soon.

Wi-Fi in the rooms needs better reception. The free basic connection is very limited, and should be improved so guests can get office work done. Otherwise, the rooms were very clean, room service was excellent, and the whole staff were friendly. The rest of the service was impeccable.

The location works well for visiting Rajwada, Ganash Temple, Kothari market, and similar places. Breakfast had the usual good spread, though only a few dishes were especially tasty. The rooms were clean with basic amenities, and staff were cordial and helpful but not very proactive. First floor rooms have bathtubs but are old, while the third floor rooms are modern and posh but have no bathtub. Nothing was really wrong, but for the price and reputation, I expected a little more. Most things were good, nothing great.

I wouldn’t recommend it. The prices are at a 4 star level, but the service didn’t even feel like 2 star. It took about 30 minutes to get a room at reception, with no hospitality. They first tried to give us a room without a bathtub, and promised items like a bathrobe and slippers weren’t there. Even after we asked, it took half an hour to get them, as if they didn’t have them ready. The bathtub water wasn’t warm enough. Even if you decide to book, don’t pay more than 3k for their junior suite.
