We lost around 3K rupees just going in and out of a shabby place. When we asked to check out immediately, the receptionist refused a refund. We offered to let them deduct one night’s charge and return the rest, but he wouldn’t agree. They couldn’t even give me a receipt. I’ll never go back or recommend it, especially to families with kids. I’d told the staff we were coming as a family, and they said there was no problem. But our room had an ashtray and cigarette butts, and it was sealed up, unventilated and suffocating. The next room they gave us was the same. I had to ask them to clean the toilet. While we were checking in, a guy brought a girl to ‘check into a room’. She kept her scarf on even though a board clearly asked people to remove scarves for the camera. It was pretty clear what was happening. The manager had called the place family-friendly, but it didn’t feel that way at all. Worst experience ever. The staff didn’t cooperate.

It’s a brand-new hotel near Annapurna Temple, and I had an awesome one-night stay. The staff were very cooperative, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and hot water and free Wi-Fi were available. All the best as a new hotel.

OYO advertises complimentary check-in from 10 AM to 12 PM, but the OYO manager charged me Rs.300 for it. He also refused to accept prepaid online bookings and asked us to pay him directly in cash. The room was in very bad condition, as shown in my photo of the walls. Pillow covers were unclean, the blankets smelled, and their covers were torn. The worst OYO experience.

The rooms and beds smelled bad, and the bathrooms weren’t cleaned. There’s no cooperation from the staff, and they don’t know how to speak to customers. Room service was terrible. Every time, you have to go up the stairs to reception. PATHETIC

The staff weren’t professional, and the toilets were damaged. There was a refilled water bottle in the room. Cleanliness was lacking: paint was peeling from the walls, and the bedsheets had lots of stains.
