OYO 3883 Hotel Grande Royale

The location is really good, and the food was okay, but the room felt a bit small. The TV and cable quality could be better, maybe they should switch to DTH. Staff were cooperative. Suraj, a young staff member, was polite, well mannered, and always ready to help. My experience was okay overall.

I liked the location near madhumilan square, but the food and room weren't very clean, and I had to ask several times to get the room cleaned. Breakfast was pathetic. The reception staff also seemed not to listen. Highly not recommended.

The bathroom was a nightmare. Every tap and the shower leaked, leaving the whole floor slippery. The toilet was so filthy and unhygienic that it felt like a place where disease could spread. Public toilets are maintained better. My room had no redeeming features. It was filthy and smelled like a public urinal, the bedsheets were covered in ugly stains, and the towel looked used and tossed onto the table, with long hairs stuck to it. Dust and food residue covered the wardrobe and furniture. The curtains were dirty, with food stains clearly visible, and the window AC hidden behind them didn't work. The TV was broken, too. They gave me a resealed water bottle instead of a fresh one. I raised the problems with Oyo as soon as I checked in. They apologized but said they couldn't reach the hotel management and couldn't help. I'd been an Oyo customer for over four years, and that was the resolution I got: "Live in the Hell." Bravo, Oyo. I also asked the hotel management directly to move me. They had other rooms empty but didn't bother changing mine. That says a lot about their customer service. See the pictures I posted for more clarity. The website calls this an OYO premium hotel and lists amenities that make it sound like a four-star stay. Checking in felt like being in a brothel. Even devils would be afraid to live there. Stay away. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. -BeingBakasura

I booked an executive room with breakfast, but they first tried to give me a regular room and said nothing else was available. Only after I pushed did they provide the executive room. Breakfast wasn't a buffet, either. They brought one plate with a vegetable sandwich, fried idly, and tea, nothing more. This is my first review on goibio. I'm posting so people know they're charging twice as much as other places for what they offer.
