The entrance to the building smells unbearable because there’s an open lavatory nearby. The place is on the second floor, and the lift doesn’t work properly, with room for only three people. Inside, the rooms and bathrooms are large and nice, but the bedding is really dirty. They say it’s laundered daily, yet the sheets and blankets have stains and spots. Even the replacements I asked for were in the same condition. It’s a good place in some ways, but needs work, especially on cleanliness.

The rooms were nice, and management was friendly and easy to approach. One thing, though: if you book through Oyo, call the hotel first. There seems to be some issue between Oyo and the management right now, so an online payment might not go through and you could have to pay again offline.

It’s affordable compared with hotels around Sardar Patel square, which I found dirty at the same or higher prices. The best part is the central location, close to the market. Cleanliness was okay, but the Wi-Fi kept dropping, with speeds around 3-6 MBPS, so it wasn’t suitable for work. I stayed twice, in different weeks, and had the same internet problem both times. Room 205 had no bathroom jet and a leaking basin pipe, while room 104 was good. Hot water was available only in the morning, which I hadn’t been told when booking. I’d rate it 3.5 stars.

The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating at a reasonable rate. The hotel is near Sarafa bazaar.
