OYO 6668 Hotel Prithviraj

The hotel’s actual location was about 7-8 km from the sightseeing area shown on the booking portal. The online pictures were misleading too, showing four proper beds when we were given just one bed and one mattress for our group of four. We had booked one Deluxe Room online at the confirmed price. At the hotel, staff said the portal hadn’t paid them and told us to cancel and pay directly. They wanted almost three times the lower online price. There was no warm shower water or complimentary drinking water. We also had electricity problems at night, an unhygienic environment, and no proper car parking. It was a very disappointing, unprofessional experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to families or other travelers.

The water was dirty and not even hot, and the AC didn’t work. A lot of things were broken or unusable, the walls were coming apart, and the TV setup box was missing. They didn’t provide the basic things you’d get at other hotels.

The rooms are on the small side, but the prices are decent, the service is good, and the hotel has a nice feel once you’re there. I wasn’t sure about it from the online listing, but booking through the oyo app worked out well. The AC and geysers worked well enough, the food tasted good, and it’s couple friendly. I had no problems and had a great time. The free wifi is excellent too.

For the price, the hotel was pretty good, with a clean bathroom and a nice locality. Parking was the problem. I had to leave my car on the roadside, which felt risky, and in the morning there was a street dog sitting on top of it.
