Playotel Resort Indore

The property looks good and has decent infrastructure, but the service ruined our stay at Playotel Resort Indore. There was a private event, and it felt as if regular guests came second. We weren't told before booking that the pool would be reserved for the party guests, and we were denied access. The room service and coordination were poor. Staff said food would be available after 11 PM, but when we tried to order, they said they could only make khichdi. That simple order took around 1.5 hours to process and deliver. The rooms have no refrigerators. At first, staff agreed to keep our things in a common fridge and collected them, but 15-20 minutes later they returned everything, saying they couldn't store anything because of the private party. We called several times overnight for the promised extra bed or mattress, but it never arrived. In the morning, staff casually said there were none available because they were all being used for party arrangements. Guests who pay shouldn't be left without basic facilities or made to feel ignored because another group is hosting an event. If the resort can't handle regular stays and private events at the same time, it should stop taking bookings during those events or tell guests beforehand. The property has potential, but management and guest handling were extremely unprofessional. I hope the owners take this seriously and improve service, because the experience didn't justify the price or expectations.

The pool was clean and very well maintained, and we found the stay relaxing. Our room was comfortable, the resort itself beautiful, and the amenities excellent. Staff provided prompt, professional room service, and the restaurant served delicious food throughout our visit. Sachin Meena gave excellent assistance and hospitality. I'd recommend this resort near Indore airport to anyone looking for a pleasant, comfortable stay.

The staff were polite and helpful throughout, and the hospitality made the stay memorable and made us feel at home.
