The rates are budget-friendly, and the main tourist spots are nearby; the bus stand and station are within a kilometer. Food is available at the hotel until 10:30 p.m. at a reasonable price. The staff were helpful and cooperative during my two-day stay at Uday Palace, and the rooms were clean. They changed the bedsheets when I asked. The washroom could use improvement. The hotel seems a bit old, which may explain the minor floor stains. I'd recommend it for a visit to Indore. A safety closure on the lift door would be useful.

Poorly maintained and dirty, with management that seems careless and disorganized. No hot water in the morning or at any time, and the room had no clothes hangers, chairs, or table.

The family-friendly, peaceful atmosphere was a highlight, and the hotel is affordable for what you get. Staff were attentive and friendly during my stay at Hotel Uday Place. The location worked well for me, though the main attractions are about a kilometer away and require a short walk. The flush in our room didn't work properly, so we had to use a bucket of water each time. Even with that inconvenience, I'd recommend it as a comfortable and welcoming budget stay. Fixing the flush could bring it up to five stars.

I had a really bad experience because of the reception staff, especially the night shift. They spoke to us rudely and insultingly. I told them in the morning that I planned to stay another day, but at 11:30 p.m. the night staff said there was no booking under my name. I had to find another hotel that late. Very disappointing.
