Vijaya's Homestay Indore

We got in late after a long drive, and the 24-hour front desk and self-check-in made arriving easy. Parking was secure and on site, so our car full of luggage felt safe. The rooms are basic but spacious, and the AC worked perfectly. It's easy to find, right behind the KIA showroom and close to the highway, so it did the job for a one-night stopover.

The bypass location is handy if you're heading toward Ujjain or Dewas and want to skip the heavy city traffic. The bedroom was clean and the sheets fresh, but the kitchenette tiles still had grease left by a previous guest and needed a deeper scrub. It's a good place, though the corners need more attention. I'd give it 3.5 if I could.

We picked Vijaya's because it was near Bombay Hospital for my father's checkup. The elevator was essential for us, and having a kitchenette and refrigerator was a lifesaver for storing medicine and preparing simple meals. Staff were polite and let us check out a little late when the appointment ran long. It felt safe and more personal than a large commercial hotel.

The separate hall and bedroom gave me far more space than the tiny rooms this budget usually gets you in Indore. Everything worked: the geyser, cold AC, and fast lift. This isn't a luxury resort, but it's clean and straightforward, and the price is hard to beat. For a stay in the Dewas Naka area, I found it the best value.
